The University of Abuja (UNIABUJA) has opened applications for its IJMB programme for the 2026/2027 academic session.
The programme runs for one academic session and prepares students for Direct Entry admission into UNIABUJA and other universities that accept IJMB.

UNIABUJA IJMB Entry Requirements
Applicants need at least five credit passes in O’Level examinations.
The subjects must include English Language, Mathematics, and three other relevant subjects; candidates should check their subject combination before starting the online form.

UNIABUJA IJMB Application Fees
The application fee is ₦25,000.
The acceptance fee is ₦30,000.
How to Apply for UNIABUJA IJMB Admission Form
Candidates should apply through the UNIABUJA portal.
Use the steps below:
- Visit the main UNIABUJA portal.
- Click start application.
- Select “Interim Joint Matriculation Board”.
- Enter surname, first name, other names, email, and phone number.
- Click “Next”.
- On the payment preview page, click “Generate RRR”.
- Click “Make Payment” and continue to Remita.
- Enter ATM card details using MasterCard or Visa Card.
- Check the portal for the application number after payment.
- Check the phone used for registration, as the portal also sends the number by SMS.
- Return to “Main Login”.
- Enter the application number and surname to continue.
- Complete and submit the form.
Candidates should print or save any needed proof after completing the process.
Rules Applicants Should Note
Applicants must use a working email address and mobile number.
UNIABUJA will send updates by email and SMS, so candidates should avoid using contact details they cannot access.
Students who fail IJMB can reapply.
The university will not refund students who withdraw or get removed after registration.
