Don’t Drop Out! UI SUG Secures Last-Minute Portal Reopening.

The Students’ Union of the University of Ibadan wishes to inform the general student body that following sustained engagements with the University Management, an additional extension has been granted on the deadline for school fees payment and course registration.

Recall that the initial deadline of April 16, 2026 was earlier extended to April 30, 2026 after interventions by the Students’ Union.

We are pleased to inform students that further deliberations have resulted in a final extension of the deadline to May 11, 2026.

New Deadline for School Fees Payment: May 11, 2026, Course Registration remains tied to fee payment and should be completed within this period.

Students are strongly advised to take advantage of this final extension and ensure that all necessary payments and registrations are completed within the stipulated time.

This extension has been granted in consideration of ongoing challenges faced by students, including issues related to NELFUND disbursement and payment processes.

However, students should note that this is a concession, not a continuous adjustment as Further extensions may not be guaranteed.
