OYO GOVT DECLARES TUESDAY PUBLIC HOLIDAY TO COMMEMORATE ISLAMIC NEW YEAR 1448
The Oyo state Government has declared Tuesday 16th of June, 2026 as a public holiday. The state government, in a circular signed by the SSG, Prof. Musibau Babatunde and made available to newsmen on Monday, said the holiday is in honour of the new Hijirah islamic calendar year state The government urged the citizens, especially Muslim faithful to pray for a continued peace and progress of the state.
